Jeanette Louise Small, 73, formerly of Moro IL, passed away on November 25, 2016 at The Courtyards of Berne Village, in New Bern, North Carolina.

Jeanette is lovingly remembered by her three children; sons Michael Small (wife Jennifer) and Robert Small (partner Bob Pendergast), and daughter Cara Schobert (husband Richard). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; Drew, Haley, Jacob, Breena, Ethan, Casey, Codey, Alyssa, and Kayla, as well as two great-grandchildren; Mason and Hayden.

Jeanette enjoyed being a loving mother, homemaker, and interior designer. She spent some of her free time...

Jeanette is lovingly remembered by her three children; sons Michael Small (wife Jennifer) and Robert Small (partner Bob Pendergast), and daughter Cara Schobert (husband Richard). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; Drew, Haley, Jacob, Breena, Ethan, Casey, Codey, Alyssa, and Kayla, as well as two great-grandchildren; Mason and Hayden.

Jeanette enjoyed being a loving mother, homemaker, and interior designer. She spent some of her free time volunteering at the Highland Animal Shelter and visiting local schools to teach children about the blind and their guide dogs. Additionally, Jean was the President of the Board of Directors for Impact where she was also a counselor, helping to improve the lives of those with disabilities and victims of domestic violence, and also touched lives as a Torch Lighter for United Way.

The family will hold a memorial gathering in her honor on Sunday, December 4, 2016, at 4 P.M. at the home of her son Michael, 25 Cherokee Dr. Havelock, 28532.
